Happy Thursday everyone!
All the information you need for worship, small groups, parish events, etc. the week of October 18-24 can be found on the home page of our website under “The Latest.” See below for an overview:
Sunday Worship – Oct. 18 2020
1. Combined Worship Service at St. Mark’s
We will be gathering this Sunday for a combined worship service at St. Mark’s at 10:30am. There’s enough space for everyone in their bubbled groups, and the service will be shorter than usual, with activities for the kids at designated family tables in the parish hall (unfortunately no nursery at this time). Come one, come all!
*Important note: Facemasks will be mandatory for all worship services in the Fall. This will enable us to gather in greater numbers, distancing at one metre between bubbled groups instead of two. See our most recent operational plan.
2. Morning Prayer by Email

3. Morning Prayer on the Website

On Tuesday, October 20 we will be gathering in the morning at All Saints for Midweek Eucharist (11am) and then in the evening at St. Mark’s for the beginning of another Pilgrim Course module (Tuesdays, Oct. 20-Nov. 24, 7:00-8:30pm).
For those who don’t know, Pilgrim is a discipleship course from the Church of England. It aims to help local churches like ours create a place where we can explore Christian faith together and see how it can be lived out each day. There are eight modules in the series. This next one focuses on the Creeds.
We had lots of fun in our meetings last year. The course is so much more than a “course.” It’s designed to foster real life conversations and helps to build relationships across our current friendship groups.
There will be two ways to gather this time around: 1) in person at St. Mark’s (already full), and 2) remotely by Zoom (all are welcome). Click here for the Zoom link if you’d like to join in and explore.
Lastly, don’t forget about our Mini Fall Fair in the courtyard at St. Mark’s on October 24th at 2pm. This is an opportunity to mix and mingle safely with friends from across our parishes over a seasonal beverage. There will be outdoor heaters, music, and tables set up for a “produce swap,” so please bring something to share from your garden or farm. If the weather is poor, we’ll meet on Oct 25, 2-4pm. Look forward to seeing you there!
I think that’s all for now. Hope to see you at St. Mark’s at 10:30am on Sunday!
Many blessings to one and all.
Yours in Christ,
